The โ€˜Poetโ€™ pays homage to the romantic yet heart-breaking story of Dara Maar, one of the many muses and lovers of Picasso. Widely recognised as his most famous muse, Dora and Picasso indulged in a turbulent relationship coloured by art, passion, tumult & tension. Picasso eventually left Dora for artist Franรงoise Gilot, it is sadly said that Dora later died from โ€˜a broken heart and boredomโ€™.

The Poet scented candle is a part of the Moody Muse Collection by LDC. Embracing a stylish emoji twist, the series was created to capture the enigmatic personas of famous Muses throughout art history; elusive & provocative women who have inspired and motivated the creative process.

200g, Burn time 35 hours

THE FIRST BURN: Tunnelling occurs when the candle hasnโ€™t been burning for long enough and the wax hasnโ€™t had the chance to fully melt at the edges. To avoid this, you must leave your candle burning for at least 3 hours the first time you light her. After the first burn, you can then extinguish the flame ready for the next burn. If you continue to allow the wax to melt to the edges of the vessel, you will experience the fullest scent throw and enjoy the maximum burn time.
TRIM THE WICK: You should ideally trim it to 5-7mm before each burn.
RECENTER THE WICK: to get a cleaner burn next time.

We recommend wiping clean with a damp cloth and to avoid using abrasive materials or substances.
