HomeGift Realty, Inc. is a Massachusetts for-profit corporation with principle offices located at 18 North Main Street, Sherborn, MA 01770. HomeGift is licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the states of California and Florida as a real estate broker. This means that HomeGift can make referrals to licensed real estate brokers in all 50 of the United States. We are not licensed to buy or sell property, or to act as a real estate broker or salesperson, in any states but Massachusetts, California and Florida. However, we do not list properties or represent buyers or sellers in connection with our real estate programs. We refer participants in our programs to qualified, licensed agents in their market areas. HomeGift retains 30% of the referral fees it earns from your transaction(s) for its services to you and for administering your non-profit’s program.

The payments we make to your non-profit under some of our programs are not tax deductible to you because we make those payments pursuant to a licensing agreement with your non-profit. Many of our programs enable you to make a charitable contribution from your rebate. If the non-profit to which you donate is eligible to receive deductible contributions, your donation through a HomeGift program is deductible if your personal circumstances permit. Please consult your tax advisor about the tax consequences of your rebate and/or the deductibility of your donation in your personal circumstances. All of our programs provide you with a rebate except in the nine states that do not permit rebates. While our programs offer you a rebate on the real estate commissions from any residential transaction, these nine states do not permit brokers to rebate or share their real estate commissions with the consumers they represent, so in those states this component of a program may not apply. This does not mean that you cannot participate in the program under the terms stated on your non-profit’s program site.
